Peaceful woodland retreat
We had a truly lovely stay at Retreat Underwood. Sarah was incredibly accommodating, and the peaceful woodland setting made for an idyllic escape. We stayed in the Little Apple site, which was more than spacious enough for our 20ft camper. Any of the three RV sites would have comfortably fit us.
Sarah had great local recommendations of places to visit on the island. We left with a generous bag of kale, some rhubarb, and mustard plant leaves.
We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to seeing how the retreat continues to grow.

Just what I needed
This was my first stop on my trek from Vancouver Island to Ontario. I was feeling a bit unsettled through the day. When I got to Retreat Underwood, I was parked by some absolutely stunning maples. That stared my decompression/grounding process. Sarah greeted us (me and my dog) and made sure we were comfortable. Later she took us on a tour of the area including the beach. She was a wealth of information, pointing out different plants and sharing their history, properties, and uses. When I returned to my camper I was relaxed and ready for a good night's sleep.
I look forward to visiting again when I return to the Island.

Enchanted forest, peaceful night
I had the privilege to be the first guest in Sarah’s beautiful forest. I wish I could stay longer as the spot was peaceful and the whole place offered very calming and soothing vibe. She kindly walked me through the forest loop and to the beach that was so close by on foot. I had fun meeting her two dogs and the welcoming elderly cat. Highly recommended!

Peaceful spot
The place is tucked away in the woods and a perfect spot to stay. Really quiet - all you hear are the birds and wind in the trees. The trails were my favorite part. Nice paths through the forest that let you wander and clear your head. Will stay again.
