• Quiet hours are 9pm to 9am.

• Driveway speed limit is 10km/h.

• Do not feed the wildlife, as it can cause a disturbance not only in nature but also in our community.

• Store food in coolers or vehicles every night so the flying and roaming wildlife do not get it.

• Do not pick the trilliums, as this can seriously injure the plant and it may take years to recover.

• Do not trespass on adjoining properties.

• Smoking of any kind is not permitted, including cigarettes, vaping, e-cigs, and cannabis.

• The use of marijuana or any drugs that are not prescribed to you is prohibited on the property.

• Excessive use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.

• Retreat Underwood is a safe, affirming space for all genders, orientations, and identities.

• Violence, offensive language, racism, illegal activity, or any violation of these rules is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination and cancellation of the reservation.

• Pets are allowed with guests in the Wild Sites only.

• Owners must clean up after pets and dispose of waste in their own garbage bins.

• Dogs and cats must be tethered or leashed while on the premises.

• Pets cannot be left unattended while tethered.

• Owners must ensure pets remain within the boundaries of their own Wild Site when not leashed and accompanied.

• Pet food must not be left accessible to wildlife.

• Owners are responsible for any damage their pets cause to property or other guests' property.

• Aggressive, noisy, or unruly pet behaviour may result in cancellation of your reservation without a refund.

• Visitor hours are from 10am to 9pm.

• Reservation holders are responsible for any damage caused by their visitors, whether accidental or intentional.

• Daytime visitors: Guests must notify us in advance if they expect daytime visitors.

• Overnight visitors: Visitors must pre-register, and are subject to management approval and fees.

Wild Site guests are asked to take their waste and recycling away when departing. Here are some nearby locations:

• Island Return-It Recycling Centre

• Fisher Road Recycling

• Find Nearby RV Dump Sites

Guest houses, such as Camas House, are equipped with their own garbage and recycling bins.

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as transparent as possible. Please review our refund policy below:

• 100% refund if cancelled at least 45 days before check-in.

• 50% refund (minus any service fee) if cancelled at least 14 days before check-in.

• No refund for cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in.

Note: We cannot be held responsible for weather conditions, acts of nature, or unforeseen circumstances. Your understanding is appreciated.

Any occupant or guest on Retreat Underwood property agrees that all personal property including recreational vehicles and personal vehicles placed on the premises, shall be placed at their own risk.

Retreat Underwood will not incur any liability for loss or damages with respect thereto or with respect to any other persons or property.

All facilities, including but not limited to parking, common areas, play areas, and trails, shall be used at guests', occupants', and visitors' own risk, without recourse against Retreat Underwood
